Description:

NMC is looking for a Sales Coordinator at our Lincoln, NE location. The primary responsibilities of this position will be to coordinate all heavy equipment sales department transactions, coordinate the ordering of equipment per sales staff specifications from Caterpillar and other CAT dealerships, and follow all orders from original order to customer delivery.

Duties:

1. Ensures orders are correctly submitted to CAT
2. Ensures equipment is delivered to customer with correct specifications in appropriate timeframes.
3. Reviews and ensures equipment invoicing is accurate.
4. Maintains and tracks all heavy equipment inventory and notifies management of variances and discrepancies.
5. Maintains and updates product information and specifications from CAT, including pricing.
6. Provides customer service and coordinates service for rental inquiries.
7. Coordinates and maintains product information, pricing guides for CAT and other vendors.
8. Performs other duties as assigned by management

Qualifications:

1. Excellent computer skills – including proficiency in Microsoft Excel & Word. Able to quickly adapt to and learn new software applications.
2. Must be detail oriented, have excellent organizational, communications and multi-tasking skills.
3. Must be able to work in an environment with numerous interruptions and maintain accuracy., able to multi-task
4. Must be able to communicate effectively regarding equipment details including model numbers, serial numbers and pricing to a variety of audiences – including sales staff, finance staff, manufacturers, dealers and accounting staff.

Education and Experience:
Bachelors degree in business or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience preferred
