Description:

NMC is looking for a Rental Coordinator to join our growing Rental division. The primary responsibilities of this position will be to determine customer rental needs, negotiate rental rates, develop rental contracts, and schedule transportation for equipment.

Duties:

1. Coordinates and dispatches rental deliveries and pick-ups.
2. Manage rental fleet and all costs associated with fleet maintenance.
3. Organizes product information conveniently, including rental rates, for easy access while working with customer inquiries.
4. Is responsible for all rental reservations and rental agreements and assists in the selection of “rent ready” equipment for each transaction.
5. Documents all “lost rental opportunities” whatever the reason.
6. Arranges the store inventory to promote merchandise sales.
7. Closes all rental agreements, creating invoices daily for review by Rental Manager before sending.
8. Receives all incoming calls. Captures critical customer information and recording the information in detail whether a rental takes place or not.
9. Performs other miscellaneous duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Great communication skills, ability to promote add-on sales and sell merchandise. Ability to work closely with others. Understands usage and applications of all rental equipment and services offered. Must have a thorough knowledge of “common” equipment failure problems and how to resolve them. Must have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Education:
Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience preferred. Must have a minimum of 1-2 years of customer service experience.
