| NMC is looking for a Rental Equipment Technician to join our growing rental division in North Platte, NE. The primary responsibilities of this position will be to remove, install, repair, disassemble, assemble, and perform failure analysis of all CAT/ALLIED equipment including engines, electrical systems, hydraulics, transmissions, power train, brakes, steering, and electronic and computer applications. |
Duties: |
1.Troubleshoot and repair customer and fleet machines at customer jobsites and shop.
2. Use SIS and other online tools to order parts, troubleshoot machine systems, and research problems.
3. Use computer to enter labor, fill out service reports and complete warranty reports.
4. Help train new employees and students
5. Performs other miscellaneous duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications: |
2-5 years of industry experience; prior experience in troubleshooting methods and tools required. Must have an acceptable driving record. Excellent customer service skills, ability to self-schedule and perform duties with minimal supervision required. Knowledge of Microsoft computer products or other comparable systems. Ability to work overtime and travel with minimal supervision. Proficient knowledge of products serviced, along with safe practices. Above average organizational skills and the ability to juggle multiple projects with deadlines. Excellent verbal communication skills. Basic computer skills.
Education and Experience:
High School diploma, tech school degree, and/or 2-5 years of industry experience.
