Description:

NMC is looking for a Painter to join our Heavy Equipment division in Omaha, NE. This position will report directly to the Welding shop foreman and Heavy Equipment Service Manager.

General Summary:

Responsible for all phases of the refinishing process. Shot blast, prep, prime, paint, and decal heavy equipment, trailers, service trucks, and large industrial items using knowledge, safety, care and detail to complete work in a timely matter. Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

1-2 years of related painting experience preferred

Required education:

High School diploma or equivalency required. Associate Degree from an accredited vocational school preferred.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

Use and knowledge of Microsoft computer products or other comparable systems required. Performs all duties in alignment with Nebraska Machinery Co. core values, mission and vision. Establishes and maintains effective working relationships with others to include customers, vendors, employees and the public. Ability to work independently without supervision and overtime with a minimum of notice.

Working conditions:

This position requires to standing for long periods of time, lifting 75 pounds on a regular basis as well as walking, climbing, stooping, bending, pushing, pulling, twisting and leaning.
