Description: | Financial Analyst
NMC is searching for a Financial Analyst for our headquarters in Omaha, NE. Qualified applicant will report directly to the Controller.
Responsibilities:
• Perform monthly review and analysis on the company's Revenue, Gross Profit and Operating Profit at a total company, division, and departmental level.
• Complete balance sheet reconciliations, make correcting journal entries, and implement process improvements based on the reconciliation findings.
• Create and enter journal entries to support the monthly accounting close process.
• Design, create, and maintain financial reports as needed.
• Facilitate the budget and forecast process and help maintain the company's budgeting software system (Power Plan).
• Perform ad hoc financial analysis and special projects as necessary.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• Strong Analytical skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Advanced knowledge of general ledger financial reporting systems, MS Excel and MS Access
• Two years of related experience.
