Description: | NMC has an immediate opportunity for an Agriculture Sales Manager in Omaha, NE. Qualified applicant will be responsible for identifying market needs, strategies and sales promotions; hiring training, managing and evaluating sales personnel, forecasting and budgeting resources, allocating territories, maintaining customer satisfaction and approving sales contacts. Agriculture Sales Personnel and Regional Sales Managers will report directly to this position.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities:
• Monitor, support and direct all sales and support activities to ensure maximum financial results are achieved.
• Work closely with suppliers to ensure all expectations and requirements are met for all parties
• Ensure customer expectations are being met in all aspects of the Agricultural business.
• Assist corporate advertising and marketing personnel with plans appropriate for NMC, Inc.
• Work with Human Resources and administrative personnel to maintain all company procedures and policies are adhered.
• Act as a team member working with AG sales personnel that all inventories and assets are properly utilized for the good of the company and its customers.
• Support and enhance, as needed and required, all programs and resources available and that employee development is maximized.

• Develop/sell a business plan
• Develop/sell annual budget and forecast
• Manage area of responsibility within approved budget
• Manage assets
• Manage pricing power
• Support team selling
• Support employees in preparing a machine quote
• Participate in new product information- sales
• Provide competitive product information and activity
• Interview, select, and hire employees
• Resolve escalated customer issues
Qualifications:
• 5-7 years of Ag related industry experience
• Bachelors degree or equivalent experience
• Excellent written and oral communication
• Demonstrated successful sales history
• Strong team building skills
