Job Description

The Vice President of Operations primary responsibility is to manage NMC’s entire inventory from order to invoice as well as the effective financial deployment & utilization of NMC’s rental fleet. The Vice President of Operations will also work to maximize floor plans and financing options across the entire company.

Job Responsibilities

Manage inventory related sales operations.
Manage rental operations from a financial perspective.
Develop rental fleet financial statements.
Develop disciplined processes for managing all corporate inventory stages.
Help all divisions with machine forecasting.
Develop standard operations reports for management.
Help determine floor plan options and administration.
Work closely with the finance department to develop separate rental fleet financial statements.
Oversee NMC’s transportation department.
Work closely with the finance department to maximize capital asset deployment.
Help make recommendations for inventory adjustments, fleet liquidations, auctions, etc.
Help manage NMC’s Like Kind Exchange (LKE) process.

The Vice President of Operations will play an incredibly important role at NMC. The vast majority of NMC’s assets are tied up in inventory. Inventory ultimately serves as our cash at NMC. NMC needs a very strong financial individual to manage this part of the company. This position has the potential to significantly increase our bottom line through improved efficiencies and better asset management.

This position will also serve on the NMC leadership team to help determine corporate strategic initiatives and direction.
