Manager-Heavy Construction Project Management

Description:

Support of Territory Sales Personnel
Used equipment sales volume and profitability
Inter-company cooperation between divisions
Customer support and satisfaction
Used equipment value assessment
New and used equipment inventory management

Duties:

Responsible for working with sales coordinators and merchandising program specialists to support all territory salesmen.
Take the lead on monthly equipment ordering with Caterpillar
Analyze inventory and provide equipment purchasing and disposal recommendations to the General Manager
Manage and coordinate customer equipment demonstrations
Coordinate with the service department for pre-deliveries and new machine set-up.
Act as main division interface between the Construction Group and GPS Department
Maintain Deals Pending List
Act as primary interface with territory salesmen and customers on product problems and customer disputes. Responsible for keeping General Manager fully informed of all situations and their status.
Take a leading role in assisting territory salesmen with the full implementation of Sales Link
Work closely with General Manager on all sales administration matters
Responsible for used equipment sales and inventory management
Make recommendations to General Manager for promotional activities
Responsible for used equipment inspections, trade-ins and purchases.
Support Railroad Division sales effort as needed
Manage all personnel issues for assigned direct reports
Work with sales coordinators and transportation department to ensure the arrangement of equipment transport
Perform other duties as requested by the General Manager

Qualifications:

Minimum of 5 years experience in new or used heavy equipment.

Must have previous experience selling Heavy Equipment.
